Hi guys! Just want to apologize to all the friends I have here that I met other places and have apparently crapped out on keeping in touch with D:

Truth is just that my online time is less now and, well......Deviant Art has never been my favorite site. There are a lot of other places that come first on my list of internet involvement, and I don't even always check those regularly. DevArt here is sort of bottom-of-the-barrel in priorities. There are a lot of you I genuinely miss keeping in touch with, DA just hasn't caught on with me yet.

Maybe someday I'll make an effort to try to be more involved/active here, its just not my first-stop place to go on the web and a bit of an after-thought much of the time I'm afraid :-/

So.....sorry I'm not more conversationally active here! I'll work on it someday asap!

My artist name is ClearGreenWater, and my primary place on the web (and best way to get/keep in touch with me) is my gallery at The Lion King Fan-Art Archive [link] The bulk of my artwork may alternately be viewed there, as much of it is Disney-styled spotted hyenas and therefore fits squarely into the criteria for that site, which I am much more comfortable using.


As of right now, I'll mostly be using this site for hobby (i.e. non-professional, so please bear that in mind when commenting, I know its quasi-Disney) fanart illustrations of the Diana Wynne Jones' book "Dogsbody" in addition to the Lion King/spotted hyena fanart mentioned above. Uploads will probably mainly be sketches, so please check off the Scraps section.

Okay, so....there's this "Six Wierd Things About You" Tag that's been going around for about a month now.

First I was tagged by , and I thought I'd be all cute and respond to the thing in the privacy of my own LiveJournal.

Then, I was tagged again here on DeviantArt by and brought it over to my FurAffinity page, trying for everything not to post it here.

Until yesterday I was tagged by and I must say--I'm just going to cut-paste what I originally had in my LJ, cuz at this point, I just give up!

~~Six Wierd Things About Me:~~

1.) I full well believe I have an actual Peter Pan complex. (No professional opinion on it of course--haha, trust me they have other things to worry about first XP)

2.) I have an obsession with lounge/sleep-wear. I have two dresser drawers full, and several robes & sets of slippers to match. Whenever I'm in a store I /need/ to look at the sleepwear o_o

3.) I've been refered to as a male, as in checked-off-the-box and repeatedly called "he", in an official police accident report. (...hard to tell with hyenas, eh? *head-desk*)

4.) I have a very special bottle of Low-Strength Asprin set aside in the back of my medicine cabinet that I only take when feeling body and soul horrible--it used to be my dog's for her arthritis before I had to put her to sleep...well over 2 years ago.

5.) I can get my left leg, and ONLY the left one, behind my head.

6.) I have a clear and lasting scar from being bitten by another human being in a fight as a kid.

Well, I'm going to finally be getting my own living space in the middle of January and need all the basics, kitchen towels, cutlery...a place to sit and a table to eat at maybe...an extra lamp to see with would be nice...o_O ...so I'm opening up a kind of commissions for a chance at a few extra bucks :3

Small naturally smooth stones painted with a character of your choice in acrylic paint and covered with fixative to prevent chipping. Choose from 2 finishes, Matte or Gloss.



I have a lot of experience detailing small figurines for family member's model projects and am practiced at small fine painting of objects with home-made custom brushes I make myself out of household items, you would be getting the highest quality you can on a tiny less-than-an-inch stone.
