Keybearer's mouse-self Kai (I think that's how it works anyway! XD)
X-posted from Fur Affinity. I thought it was different enough from what I usually draw on TLKFAA (read: not a hyena) that I thought some of the people watching here that aren't on FA might like to see it.
Or not. But I just really like mice <.<
I had loads, loads of them as pets once. I was in a Four H club for small animals, I bred about one litter for almost 5 years.
Rodents are a way of life, I miss them.
On the upside, I have an absolute understanding of the way they look/move/etc and they're one of the few animals I can plunk a drawing of down with something nearing confidence. You can't tell from this one, it's just a simple broadside little giftie, but when you live with that many of one animal for so long you get like an instant recall of them, poses, mannerisms.
So yeah. Okay I'll just admit it--Posted here for nostalgia.

Thanks ^^ I used Prismacolor Markers, and they are wonderful, I love the tones you can get with them & still have the texture of the paper visible a little bit, too C: They're great investments for someone like me that's away from the comp a lot, I can't rave about 'em enough
Awesome pic, I don't know how to explain it but I like that a mouse character can have depth. It looks like a character that could be in Don Bluth film (much superior to Disney >.> <.<
Absolutely gorgeous. I love the little goggles and the hair sticking up from behind them. Really nice expression too and of course great anatomy work, you certainly do have a good understanding of mice. Really nice Love the colouring too.
