"I like to use the Secret Santa as the project to go all out & use all the things I've picked up over the past year. This one uses: ~a dedicated shading layer, ~texturing & transparency on the rocks/dirt, ~putting something in the foreground & deepening a 6 layer (when finished, could probably do with one more) background scene, more than I ever did before ^^

My goals for 2007 are: do more finished pictures like this one (although I wanted to gouge my eyes out by the end of it XD); experiment with more dramatic perspective & poses, and to attempt more atmospheric pieces with varied landscapes, I'm boringly obsessed w/blue skies & green grasses

We'll see how that goes! "
